Leading Post-Acquisition Integration
Leadership work completed before SK2 Consulting. Each case reflects the named founder’s responsibilities within the organization.
The challenge
After its acquisition by a publicly traded education company, the business had to fold its operations into a traditional university structure while continuing to operate.
The work
As President, Kiana led the company-wide integration across admissions, marketing, student support, contracts, website operations, internal procedures, and international functions.
She ran it in stages: moving functions into the parent organization, eliminating duplicated roles, realigning ownership, and revising processes to control costs.
The outcome
All seven functions moved under the parent organization in planned stages, and overlapping work was consolidated. The business kept operating throughout.
How this appliesIntegrations rarely fail on strategy; they stall in the handoffs between teams. Sequencing the work in stages keeps the business steady while structures change.
