Growth & operational transformation

The business changed.
Did your operations?

We scaled a company to $40M+, then led it through a public-company acquisition, integration, and restructuring with performance above target. Now we help founders and executives facing growth, an acquisition, or a restructuring fix what’s holding the organization back, in the right order.

What we solve

When the organization stalls.

These are the three situations we are brought in for. Each comes down to the same question: does the organization (its roles, ownership, capacity, and accountability) fit what the business needs now?

01

Scaling & Growth

Demand is outpacing the organization. Leaders become bottlenecks, teams are stretched unevenly, and hiring happens without a clear capacity plan. We design the structure, roles, capabilities, and operating processes the next stage needs.

Where we’ve done itBuilt more than 10 departments and the capacity model for roughly 200 instructors and teaching assistants as a company scaled to $40M+.

02

Operational Change & Change Management

Key initiatives stall, ownership is unclear, and performance slips while the business tries to change. We find the real blockers, then work with the people carrying out the change to clarify accountability, set performance measures, and keep results on track.

Where we’ve done itKept a 250-person global organization above its performance targets through major change.

03

Integration & Restructuring

After an acquisition, consolidation, or workforce change, responsibilities overlap, procedures conflict, and the business still has to run. We define the future structure, set priorities, and sequence the transition around your customers and operations.

Where we’ve done itLed a company-wide integration into a publicly traded parent, and three phased workforce reductions with KPIs above target.

THE TEAM

A combined record of 30+ years of growth and transformation.

Every engagement gets direct involvement from both founders. We come from starting and running businesses, not consulting careers, and bring experience across growth, organizational design, workforce strategy, and execution through major transitions.

Between us, we have also restructured more than five departments and launched products across US and international markets.

How we work

Start with clarity.

Three steps, with a clear decision at each one. You choose whether to continue, and nothing is paid until you agree to the assessment.

Book an intro call (opens in a new tab)
  1. 01
    Intro call Complimentary

A 30-minute conversation with Speros or Kiana about what’s changing in the business, how it’s affecting results, and where we could help. You’ll leave knowing whether SK2 is the right fit and what a sensible next step looks like.

  2. 02
    Diagnose & Design

We review relevant business information and the challenges identified during the intro call. We then meet with key leaders and stakeholders to determine the root causes preventing the company from achieving its goals.

    What you typically receive

    • Evidence-based findings identifying the highest-priority issues within the agreed scope.
    • Practical recommendations designed to address your specific challenges.
    • A customized roadmap aligned with your goals, priorities, and organizational capacity.
    • An executive presentation and working session to review the findings, recommendations, and next steps.

Timeline: Agreed upfront based on scope and access to information and stakeholders. Most assessments take a few weeks.

  3. 03
    Implementation support

Your leadership team can execute the roadmap internally, or engage SK2 to guide and oversee implementation while your team carries out the work. When the assessment shows the gap is capability rather than structure, we build and deliver the training your managers need ourselves, drawing on Speros’s experience developing leaders across a 250-person organization. Scoped and priced separately.

Questions

Before we talk.

Straight answers to the questions leaders usually ask first.

Who do you work with?

Founders, CEOs, and operating leaders at companies going through a significant change: rapid growth, an acquisition or integration, a restructuring, or an important initiative that has stalled. We are based in Seattle and Phoenix and work with companies across the US and internationally.

What happens on the intro call?

It is a 30-minute conversation with Speros or Kiana. We talk through what has changed in the business, how it is affecting results, and what leadership needs to happen next. By the end, you will know whether SK2 is the right fit and what a focused next step would look like. The intro call is complimentary; paid work begins only if you choose the Diagnose & Design assessment.

What does the Diagnose & Design assessment include?

We review your business information, interview key leaders and stakeholders, and identify the root causes behind the issues. Deliverables are shaped by what we find; How we work shows what is typically included. Scope, deliverables, and timeline are agreed with you upfront.

How is the work priced?

Each assessment is scoped to your situation, and the fee is agreed in writing before any work begins, so there are no open-ended hourly bills. We share pricing once we understand the scope, usually after the intro call. Implementation support is scoped and priced separately.

Do you help implement the recommendations?

Yes, in a guiding and oversight role. We help your leaders plan the rollout, set the operating cadence, coach the people leading the change, and keep progress and accountability on track. If the roadmap calls for training, we build and deliver it within the engagement, so you are not left to find a separate provider. Your team carries out the day-to-day work, so the changes are owned internally and continue after we step back. Your leadership can also execute the roadmap on its own.

Do you decide who is affected in a restructuring?

No. We design the structure, criteria, and process, and your leadership makes individual employment decisions. That keeps accountability where it belongs and the process defensible.

How do you handle confidentiality?

Every engagement is covered by a written agreement that includes confidentiality. We never publish a client’s name, results, or a case study without written permission.

What if SK2 is not the right fit?

We will tell you directly in the first conversation, and where we can, we will point you to someone better suited.
